The location is superb, right next to the church where you can enjoy the soothing sound of the bells ringing in the morning. it is situated on top of the hill in the heart of the city, providing breathtaking views of the entire town. the rooms are clean and tidy, with tons of character and traditional charm. the staff is friendly and welcoming, providing helpful information and ensuring a pleasant stay.

The lights in the corridor are equipped with a sensor and it shines bright on the person sleeping on the sofa.

Loved getting drenched in the bathroom thanks to the lack of shower curtains! And trying to find the hotel was just a fun little treasure hunt with the locals as my clueless guides.

Oh, how I adore being lost and soaked all at once. Such joy!

They were amazed by the ancient ruins and really got a sense of history. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a few minutes' walk from the theater and other attractions. It made exploring the city with the children so convenient and enjoyable.

My children wanted a larger play area in the hotel.

I had an amazing stay at an accommodation like no other in the heart of Old Town. the location was perfect, just minutes away from the Ancient Theater, Roman Stadium, and the artistic Kapana district. the hosts were incredibly helpful and even organized parking for us. the highlight was definitely the fabulous garden with two beautiful terraces offering stunning views of the city. the property also had a unique museum that guests could explore. the studio apartments were cozy and well-equipped, and the beds were extremely comfortable. I would definitely return to this outstanding place. Cons: No issues 👍.

We stayed at Kesta Staria Grad in Old Plovdiv with our family and friends and wished our stay was longer! The cozy apartments and comfortable beds made us feel right at home. The highlight was the outstanding ethnographic museum in the main house, which we had access to. The outdoor patio and balcony offered stunning views of Plovdiv and the mountains. The location in the heart of Old Plovdiv was perfect, close to the amphitheatre and main shopping area. The friendly staff gave us a guided tour of the museum before settling into our room. The shared kitchen was an unexpected bonus and the tranquility of the garden was perfect for morning coffee and evening relaxation. Parking in the old town was a bonus too.

Helpful hosts who can arrange parking nearby. Clean, functional rooms with air conditioning. Good breakfast served at a nearby restaurant.
